An Amazing Couple of Days
The last few days have been truly amazing. Our experience at the ceremony to honor the holocaust victims was truly a blessing beyond compare and on Monday we went to a wreath laying ceremony. I was also struck by the incredible fact that even as I’m here in Israel our Secretary of State is making some stupid comments about Israel. It just shows again the direction our nation is going. Yesterday we spent over 4 hours touring the holocaust museum. It had a powerful impact on my heart and soul. We also went to a concert at the Jerusalem Theater last night that was dedicated to the holocaust. All of these things are amazing experiences and I hope that I can somehow communicate to you what God is doing in my heart. This evening there is a banquet that we will be attending that’s been prepared for by the people who have brought us here. I’ve been very busy so it’s been hard for me to keep up with you and my journaling but I hope to be able to write more about my experience and communicate what God is speaking to me about in my heart and life.
Went to dinner tonight at the International Christian Embassy in Jerusalem. It was a very interesting evening with another interesting food experience. We were served sushi with chopsticks. I don’t eat sushi and I don’t know how to use chopsticks so everything is a learning experience for me. I’ll just keep trying!
